Artist's Statement

Creativity has been my passion ever since I was a child and when I grew older, I decided to turn that passion into a career. I primarily design in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, although I have further extended my knowledge in all of the following Adobe programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Lightroom, Animate and Illustrator. Music, as well as the situations that I experience throughout my life, continually spark inspiration within me. After acquiring a solid concept and vision, I begin my process by sketching out my thoughts and ideas. I then take those ideas over to a computer and roughly lay out what I have created in my head. Criticism from others is helpful at this point in my process as well, leading me to produce an even better finished design. Predominantly, my designs are clean and modern. My best works include a typography magazine titled Typolicious and a typography book titled Flourish featuring type that I created out of flower petals. Design is a way to constantly inspire others within their chaotic and busy lives. It manifests itself in everything around us, though we often take it for granted. My overall objective is to elevate the style in this unpolished world.
